The Mile High Nordic Ski Education Foundation partners with Homestake Lodge every winter to offer ski lessons to kids and families. Lessons are on Saturday mornings at Homestake Lodge and rental equipment will be available. Lessons will occur every Saturday with the exception of January 31. Elementary School Ski Program
Every winter Mile High Nordic Ski Education Foundation partners with Homestake Lodge to provide cross-country skiing and instruction to many area schools including, Butte, Ramsay, Anaconda, Whitehall and Cardwell. This program benefits over 700 third and fourth grade students in our community. Homestake Lodge provides the rental equipment, trail maintenance, and coaching staff. We rely on local businesses and individuals to help us offer the students a fun and exciting winter activity.
